Building the standard.

Pluribus is building the professional standard for generative media — a production record of who’s in the work, what it referenced, and who confirmed what, kept where the work happens and legible wherever it goes.

01Workflows become standards.

Every craft that became an industry did it the same way: the working record became the standard. Film has call sheets and credits. Photography has releases. Music has session logs and splits. The record is how strangers trust the work enough to pay for it, air it, insure it.

Generative media is at that turn now. The work is professional; the record around it hasn’t caught up — prompts scattered across tools, references unnamed, nobody certain who confirmed what. Pluribus builds the production record: the people, the named creative references, the confirmations, and the connected outputs, kept with the work itself.

The goal is work that’s professionally legible wherever it’s made — and to whoever needs to read it: a client, a network, a union, an underwriter.

02Principles.

A few rules shape everything that ships. They don’t move.

Consent is scoped

A grant names uses, terms, and time — not a blanket yes. And it stays revocable.

Approvals name people and terms

Nobody is asked to sign a generic AI usage request. The ask shows the person, the reference, and the context it applies to.

Evidence, not claims

The record points at what happened — source, prompt, reference, confirmation, timestamp — so trust doesn’t have to be asked for.

The work stays with you

Media, prompts, and graphs stay in your workflow. The record travels as structured fields and fingerprints.

Open where it touches your work

The one component inside your workflow — the ComfyUI plugin — is GPL-3.0 open source.

03What we don’t standardize.

  • Your taste.
  • Your tools.
  • Your process.
  • Your style.

The standard is the record of the work — never the work. What you make and how you make it stays yours; Pluribus makes it legible.
